Tune into to this week’s Quick Wins With COM where Richard talks about the six questions you should be asking to identify your customers.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Recently I was in New York for a Marketing Conference, walking through the city I met a small business owner shinning shoes. I asked if he could shine my shoes, and he said he couldn’t because they’re not leather. I started to look around and got to thinking that not many people now wear leather shoes, so how does this business owner stay in business?

You’ll see that he does get a customer, so you see he does know his avatar. The customer is dressed for the cold weather to sit outside, he’s wearing leather shoes, so you see you have to know your avatar to get them into your business.

My advice for you is to keep up with your customer’s needs and pain points by simply asking them questions. You have to work out how you can improve your product or service so that you can market better.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
